VIRGINIA BELSER

Virginia’s educational background includes Bachelor’s degrees in French and in Fine Art and a Master’s in Educational Media. Her professional experience include serving as Director for one of the first New Media Centers at Virginia Tech, overseeing for ten years the busiest computer lab on the Virginia Tech campus, designing and implementing faculty training for Juniata College, conceiving and delivering the summer program known as the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for Information Technology, and creating and implementing an online faculty community in UNCW’s Center for Teaching Excellence.

As a part-time consultant with the institute since 2006, Virginia’s projects have ranged from designing and delivering the international conference known as Designs on e-Learning, to online course enrollment projections, to assisting in the development of interactive music study guides, to coordinating course quality reviews.
