Kate is the assistant director of strategic initiatives in the eLearning Institute. In this role, she identifies and evaluates new online programs and opportunities, collaborates with faculty on digital scholarship projects and initiatives, and designs and develops online courses for new programs.
Prior to joining the team in Arts and Architecture, Kate served as the director of digital pedagogy and scholarship in the College of the Liberal Arts, leading strategic projects in emerging educational technologies and managing digital scholarship projects and collaborations. She’s also been an instructional designer at Education Technology Services and College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State. Kate holds a B.A. in English from Stonehill College and an M.A. in education in instructional technologies from San Francisco State University.
